7SEVENSMART: 마곡사

충청남도 공주시 사곡면 태화산에 있는 조계종 불교사찰로 신라 선덕여왕9년 자장율사에 의해 창건되었다. 현재 대웅보전, 대광보전, 영산전 3개 건물이 국가문화재 보물로 지정되어 있다.

Located on Taehwasan Mountain in Sagok-myeon, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do, this Jogye Order Buddhist temple was founded in the 9th year of Queen Seondeok of Silla by the monk Jajang Yulsa. The temple is home to three buildings—Daeungbojeon Hall, Daegwangbojeon Hall, and Yeongsanjeon Hall—which have been designated as National Treasures of Korea.

대중교통으로 마곡사 가는 길 :

마곡사는 기차로 이동하기 어렵다. KTX 공주역은 거의 다른지역에 있으며 공주버스터미널에서 버스나 택시를 이용하여 1시간 안에 갈 수 있다.

Getting to Magoksa Temple by public transportation:
96-1, Magoksa-ro, Sagok-myeon, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do, Republic of Korea.
Traveling by train is not convenient, as KTX Gongju Station is located quite far from the temple. It is better to go to Gongju Bus Terminal, from where you can reach Magoksa Temple by bus or taxi in less than one hour.
